Client work: an appraisal business
Auto Appraisal Network OKC
autoappraisalsoklahoma.comWiley Conley is a certified independent vehicle appraiser in central Oklahoma. He values classic cars, customs and hot rods, muscle, late model vehicles and whole collections, for insurance agreed value, diminished value and total loss claims, estates, divorce and pre-purchase inspections.
The appraisals themselves were never the problem. Everything around them was manual: fielding the request, telling the customer what to send, chasing the documents that never arrived, sorting photographs, hunting comparable sales one browser tab at a time, then assembling the report by hand and invoicing separately.
What was built
A single system carrying the business from first enquiry to paid invoice.
- A public request form that opens a numbered file, acknowledges the customer within seconds, and builds the document checklist from the purpose of the appraisal, because a total loss claim and an estate valuation need different things.
- A client portal reached by a link emailed to the customer, with no password, showing what has been received and what is still outstanding, and taking uploads of large photo sets directly.
- A photo reader that pulls the VIN and the odometer reading out of the images, writes the build sheet, and sorts the set into print order.
- A comparable sales engine that fetches listing and auction pages, extracts the comparables, normalizes hammer prices against advertised prices, and blocks the same sale from being counted twice.
- Three report types: total loss, diminished value and fair market value, each printing the standard applied, the effective date, and the sales the figure rests on.
- An appraiser console covering vehicle, condition, comparables, messages, photos, notes, the report and billing, in one screen.
- Text and email that fires on its own: instant acknowledgement, alerts to the appraiser, and an hourly sweep that raises a nudge before the promised turnaround time is missed.
- Hosted invoices payable by card or bank transfer, where payment opening the customer's portal is automatic rather than something someone has to remember.
Three rules built into the code
An appraisal is evidence. It can end up in an insurance negotiation, a court file or a tax return, so the system refuses to produce a document it cannot stand behind.
- A conclusion has to follow from the table. If the final figure differs from the computed one, the system will not save the report until a written reason is supplied, and that reason prints in the document.
- A comparable sale cannot be counted twice. Every comparable is fingerprinted and the database itself rejects the duplicate, so the same auction result cannot quietly appear on both sides of an average.
- Internal notes never print. Every note is marked as internal or as part of the report, and the internal ones cannot reach a customer copy.
How it was checked
Before handover, the valuation engine was run against the comparable sales from a real appraisal the business had already issued by hand. It returned the same figure as the issued report, to the cent, and wrote the narrative from those rows.
The system went live on the client's own domain, with hosting, messaging, payment and AI accounts in his name and billed to him. Every practice record was cleared out first, so it opened empty.

Client work: an AmeriCorps program
Red River Community Corps
rrccdashboard.netlify.appRed River Community Corps runs AmeriCorps and VISTA service programs across Oklahoma, placing members with host site organizations statewide. A program year means tracking which host sites are ready, which have a signed agreement, which positions are open, who has applied, and where every member is in onboarding, all at once and all against federal reporting requirements.
That work lived in spreadsheets and shared documents. Four tools now carry it, and they are in daily use through the 2026 to 2027 program year.
The primary dashboard
One screen for the whole program year, switchable between years so last year's record stays intact.
- Host site readiness tracked through to a signed agreement, with the sites still missing one surfaced rather than buried.
- Open positions on a map of the state, filterable, so a gap in coverage is visible instead of counted.
- Positions, applications, recruitment and onboarding, each as its own view over the same records.
- Site visits and partner organizations tracked alongside the placements they belong to.
- A change log, because a federal program has to be able to say what changed and when.
The position description tool
Host sites write their own AmeriCorps member position descriptions, which is where compliance problems start. The tool is a guided form with a live preview that produces a print ready PDF.
- A built in language linter flags the words that get a description rejected: employee, staff, supervise, fundraising, lobbying and the rest of the prohibited activities.
- It catches the problem while the host site is writing, rather than after it has been submitted.
- Output is formatted to the reference layout, so every description arrives looking the same.
The VISTA assignment tool and the partner map
- A matching tool for VISTA Assignment Descriptions, which follow different rules from member position descriptions and need their own guardrails.
- A public map of partner organizations across Oklahoma, so the reach of the program can be seen rather than described.
- Built for
- An Oklahoma AmeriCorps and VISTA program operating statewide
- Tools
- Primary dashboard, position description tool, VISTA assignment tool, partner map
- In use
- Daily, through the 2026 to 2027 program year
- Ongoing fee to DattaDock
- None
More work
Smaller than a full system, and worth listing because the same methods built them. Two of these are businesses the owner of DattaDock runs himself, which is said plainly rather than dressed up as a client list.

Fun & Fit
LiveBuilding next week's staffing by hand, every week, in a spreadsheet that fights back.
A weekly grid of every staff member and their shifts, which then seeds a daily board: person blocks with a timeline of assignments, section blocks for field trips and for cabin breaks east and west, all drag and drop between columns. It prints to a clean day sheet for the wall.

Growe Flowers
groweflowers.comAn Oklahoma City florist and flower truck.
The public site, wedding and event estimate tools that price a job while the customer is still reading, invoicing through Square, and enquiries captured to the inbox rather than to a form that goes nowhere.
-
Coby Homes
cobyhomes.comReal estate in the Oklahoma City metro.
The public site, plus the tools behind it: a home finder, an offer analyzer that works a deal through to the number that matters, and the tracking that keeps a transaction from falling through a gap.
Products we own and operate
Four products, designed, written, hosted and supported in house. They are not case studies written after the fact. They are live software with our own money and reputation behind them, which is a better test of a method than a portfolio page.

Finding a part for a forty year old car means checking nine specialist retailers by hand.
One search queries the retailers that stock parts for that vehicle, up to eight at a time, and returns part number, price and stock side by side. Accounts by password or Google sign-in, billing through Stripe. The only product of ours with AI inside it: Anthropic's API interprets search terms and powers an optional assistant over the results on screen.
-
Lending money to family goes wrong when nobody wrote down what was agreed.
Produces an agreement both parties sign, sets a payment schedule with reminders, and records payments against it. Kinlend is not a lender and not a money transmitter. No funds pass through it. No AI inside.
-
Trade jobs are scattered across boards built for office work.
A free job board for the skilled trades, drawing on live Adzuna data, showing pay where the source provides it, with guides to twenty trades. It runs on a Netlify subdomain and does not have its own domain yet. No AI inside.
-
Six people, three weeks of shared costs, and nobody wants to do the arithmetic.
Tracks who paid what, computes who owes whom, and reduces it to the fewest payments that settle the balance. The paying happens however those people already pay each other. No AI inside.

Your process, carried the same way
